Sieving broths and stocks, straining vegetables, fruit and much more is extremely easy and quick. Thanks to the wide edge and the handle at the end of the blanching insert, it has a large surface area for pots and bowls, meaning that delicate vegetables, for example, can also sit directly in the blanching insert and blanch in hot water.
